This document is a beta placeholder written in plain language. Real legal language will replace it before public launch.

What this is

Roundup is a daily puzzle app run by a sole proprietor. Playing is free. Donations are optional and go toward the operator’s public debt-payoff goal — not a registered charity.

By using the app, you agree

Your account and data

Intellectual property

The app design, puzzle content, branding, and codebase are owned by the operator. You may share the daily puzzle’s share grid (the colored-emoji result) anywhere; please don’t republish full puzzle content elsewhere.

Disclaimers

Roundup is provided “as is.” We make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that puzzle scheduling is perfect. We may modify or discontinue features at any time. The public debt-payoff totals are reported in good faith but should not be relied upon for accounting or legal purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the operator’s total liability for any claim related to Roundup is limited to the amount you have donated in the prior 12 months (which, for non-donors, is zero). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

You can stop using the app at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms. Account termination doesn’t obligate us to refund donations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of the operator’s residence in the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll announce material changes in the app.
